Specifically, we will focus on CAR-T therapy and how it's used in autoimmune disease research. We wanted to take this time to introduce one of our presenters, Dr. Mamatha Pasnoor!
Dr. Mamatha Pasnoor, M.D., is a Professor in the Department of Neurology at the University of Kansas Medical Center. After completing a residency in neurology and a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology with a focus on neuromuscular diseases at the University of Kansas Medical Center (KUMC), she joined the KUMC faculty in 2006. Board-certified in Neurology, Neuromuscular Medicine, and Clinical Neurophysiology, Dr. Pasnoor specializes in neuromuscular diseases and general neurology.
Dr. Pasnoor's research focuses on peripheral neuropathies, myasthenia gravis, motor neuron disease, and myopathies. She is actively involved in several clinical research programs, including studies on diabetic and other neuropathies, myasthenia gravis, and various muscle and nerve disorders.
