SApHiAre Study for wAIHA patients

The SApHiAre study is looking for participants with wAIHA. Study doctors are evaluating an investigational medication given as an injection under the skin to determine its safety and efficacy in patients with wAIHA. In this study, if you are eligible, you will be seen by wAIHA medical specialists and may receive the investigational medication which is being evaluated to see if it helps to improve anemia caused by wAIHA.

What should I know about the SApHiAre study?

  • To be eligible for this study, participants must:

    • Be at least 18 years old;

    • Have a diagnosis of wAIHA for at least 3 months;

    • Be receiving treatment or have previously received treatment for wAIHA; and

    • Have at least one symptom of anemia.

  • The study treatment period will consist of weekly visits (some can be done at home) over 6 months, and you and your study doctor will have the opportunity to discuss an extended study treatment for an additional 1 year (52 weeks).

  • The health and safety of participants will be monitored throughout the study. Participant data and information will be kept confidential.

  • Study participants may receive study-related treatment at no cost, medical care related to wAIHA, and travel reimbursements for site visits.
